Vintage 1993 Russian Leather Officer Field Map Bag Military Satchel 12”x9”

Unique vintage 1993 Russian leather officer-style field map/document bag, manufactured in Bogorodsk, Russia. This classic field case design was made to organize maps, documents and small instruments, with multiple interior leather loops and holders for writing and map-measuring tools.  Crafted in rich dark brown leather with an  l adjustable/removable leather shoulder strap, top carry handle, metal clasp hardware and a fascinating clear interior map/document panel. Interior also includes numerous original leather instrument/pencil holders and straps.  Factory markings inside include Bogorodsk and a production date of IV 1993, indicating manufacture during the fourth quarter of 1993.  In excellent vintage condition for its age, with light surface marks, edge wear and natural patina consistent with a 30+ year-old leather piece. Please see photos closely for condition.
